After much experimentation, we stay at the Maui Prince and have for years. It is owned by the Japanese but there aren't many there usually. The sushi restaurant is good but expensive. This resort is 1 mile from the big group of other resorts, which is where the mall is. That section is very crowded and the beaches are tiny. The Prince Maui is quiet and has the best beach and snorkeling with so much to do and the best customer service. This is the place to stay, and for being only 1 mile away from the mall, the price is unbelievable!

My husband & I stayed in Maui Prince for our 2nd honeymoon. We were so pleased the entire time that we were there. The staff was courteous, great restuarants, awesome room service...the place was an oasis!!! It is perfect for honeymooners. It was all well worth it! 2 thumbs up!

We loved the fact that it was "the end of the road" and yet, relatively convenient to anything we wanted to do. The beach is wonderful, the services great, and the atrium was just beautiful. If you are one of those people who make six figures a year and have to let people know about it, this place is not for you. If your that person who likes service and friendly people, this is the place for you. The Maui Prince is the last resort on the row. People from other resorts would end up on the Princes beach for some peace and quiet. ...

Everything met our expectations and more. We were there for our honeymoon and are looking to come back very soon.
