My wife and a couple of friends stayed there and everything was awesome, the beach, the food, the service, it was all great, the only gripe I had was that the inside of the rooms were outdated, the rooms looked like the had been like that for at least 10 years, do not get me wrong the rooms were clean but outdated.
Other than that it was paradise.

The Maui Prince Hotel is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. When we opened the door to our room the first day we were overwhelmed with a terrible smell. The room smelled like mildew. We had a breathtaking view of a mountain and the ocean. The hotel is located in a very private setting, a fair distance from other hotels and the Wailea shopping district, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. The open air courtyard was one of the highlights of this hotel.

My boyfriend & I was in Maui for a friends' wedding at the 4 season and we stayed in the partial ocean view room at Maui Prince for a week and their service was really good. Our room was clean from the time we got there 'til the time we left. Their mini fridge was nice because we were able to keep our drinks cold and I really mean COLD. ...

My husband and I had our marriage vow renewal ceremony in the atrium beside the waterfall. It was the most beautiful place we've ever been. Everone that was involved in making it happen was wonderful. We couldn't have been happier with the way that it turned out. Our photos from the ceremony turned out wonderful. We can't wait to go back you can bet we'll be staying at the Maui Prince, we just loved it!

We went there in December to get married - it was AWESOME! From top to bottom they were one of the best travel experiences of our lives!

This is a must on every travelers list! We are currently in the process of planning our return trip we loved this vacation so much!

The Maui Prince is great. It is much less pretentious and much more laid back than the other Wailea hotels. The pool area is definitely not a draw, really old and small, but the beach is the best. Gorgeous, big enough and perfect for couples or families alike.
The bathrooms are a throwback to what was probably chic in 1980, but that kind of adds to the charm of this delightful, quiet gem. The staff is fabulous.

The staff at the hotel were extremely courteous and helpful. The open air atria with the fish pond is spectacular. With the hotel being farther down the coast it gave it a secluded type feeling.
