The service and location is pretty bad. We were at the hotel for a 2 1/2 week stay. The hotel advertises a fitness center, but they only had 2 tred mills in a temporary room. Unfortunately your automatically charged an extra 15 dollar resort fee on top of the room rate. Part of the charge is to cover the fitness center and 20 percent off the 85 ...
Everything was great!! From the service to the location. It was a great value to find such a nice hotel for the price that we paid for. My family had a great time. The kiddie pool was fun for the kids. The pool has a little sand beach and all the water was 1 1/2 deep with many water falls and spraying fountains. The water slides aren't bad either. It is walking distance from the Wailea shops, making shopping and dining convenient.
we really liked the ambience of the locality. the snuckling was exorbitant but the food somewhat zealously priced. we'll come back. the service was really quite good at times but at times it was slow and not very good. the food was tasty some times and some times not so tasty.
There was absolutely nothing to dislike about the Wailea Mariott. We had a marvelous time, and we never even left the resort! There are no bad views of the coast from any room. The place is immacualtely clean, the food excellent, and the service outstanding. We went for our honeymoon April 2005, and we are returning in May 2006, with my mother and daughter in tow. It is going to be the vacation of a lifetime for us.
I stayed at this hotel on my honey moon back in April of 05. Of course the night that we checked in, they upgraded us from a mountain view room to a beach front room at no cost. Every staff member that we came into contact with was more than willing to be absolutely as helpful as they could be. The location was perfect. If you are going to ...
We have been there 3 times, each time the service has been great, the location perfect, the beach the best. The Hula Moons Resturant is a little overpriced and the last time we were there (March 2005) we were charged an activity fee of $15.00 per day. When you are paying $400.00/day for a room , this is wrong.
Went Aug 7-14 for our honeymoon, and throroughly enjoyed the location, the pool and Hula Moon's outstanding buffet breakfast. The biggest gripe we heard before hand was that there was lots of walking to do because it's not right on a beach - but Wailea Beach is right to the south, and Ulua Beach to the north. Depending on your room, one of ...
We fell in love with the hotel when we first got there and actually extended our vacation in Maui to enjoy the peace and quiet there. Though it is a little on the pricey side it was well worth it. The hotel's location was located in an area that made for a little drive to get to the more populated parts of Maui, but the peace and quiet was ...
Ulua beach is only short stroll from the main part of this hotel and it is FABULOUS. It is not as crowded as the beach in front of Four Seasons, etc. and the snorkeling is super. The hotel is very nice (if not a bit older) and the staff is great (besides, you go to Hawaii to enjoy the outdoors, not your hotel room right?). The room service is ...
We didn't find the front desk staff very accomodating. We had a baby and needed a way to warm milk - we were not only told that there were no microwaves in the rooms, but not even in the whole property. They told us to use the coffee maker (mmm. . . that would taste good) or submerse it in hot water from the sink. We finally got them to heat ...
