I stayed at the Thunderbird hotel in Flordia of July 2005. The hotel is haunted. I don't know the historical backgrounds of the hotel but I am sure that it is haunted, Me and friends got rashes on our bodies also from the dirty sheets.

We stayed here 'on spec' last year having had a voucher in a room saver brochure and just drove in off the street.

Its conviently located, you can walk to alot of Daytona attractions,reasonably priced-especially since its on the beach-& well run, clean, & comfortable, even in the midst of a hurricane (water & power NEVER went out & the rooms wee sturdy & secure). The staff is courteous & accomadating, even if you want to keep a box of lizards in the room's closet (which my girlfriend & I did,'cause were were there for the annual Daytona reptile show)
