there is nothing that me or my family liked about this place. The room ceiling looked liked something fell throw it, the ac unit looked liked it was from the 1950's, the wallpaper was pealing in the bathroom along with the tub, the carpet was dirty, furniture was old and just plain gross, no breakfast, the room had mold growing, the walls were ...
Save your money and go to a nice hotel. Black Mold was growing on the ceilings. The A\C looked like someone took a ball bat to it. It is hard to believe that this hotel can carry the name of Holiday Inn.
I don't think that there is much anyone can do about this hotel. It is just old and needs a lot of work, rooms and furniture are falling apart. My wife got a severe scratch from a nail sticking out of an old chair in the room. I stay in hotels every other week because of my job and I can honestly say this is the worst I have stayed in this year! If you're willing to trade comfort for proximity to Universal, give them a try!
If you want over priced, filthy bathrooms, smelly pillows, no service, lamps with burned out bulbs, and as an extra bonus a moldy bathroom this is your mecca! As an added bonus our room did not lock. Was it reported? Yes the first day. Was it fixed? Of course not! Afterall we were only there four days! For fun try their dirty restaurant next door ...
Overall, this place wasn't too bad. The game room was always hot, no ventilation. I did not like that there was no complimentary breakfast like EVERY OTHER hotel I have ever stayed at in my entire life. They sell you on the "kids eat free" but you have to eat at the Friday's on the first floor of the hotel, and you can't get ...
Ammenities were very weak at the most. Nothing for young kids to do on rainy afternoons, and every afternoon was rainy when we went. There was an arcade- but none geared for young ones, and 1/2 would take you money and not work. Cleanliness was very poor, considering the bathroom off of teh lobby was greatly soiled. Someone had deficated on the ...
I had my family reunion at the Holiday Inn the weekend of Labor Day. The terrible customer service experience started as soon as we checked in. The female who checked us in had the worst attitude, did not accomodate us for being in the priority club and was just overall unpleasant. After being checked in we went up to the room and the floor we ...
The place was really unclean, especially the bathroom. The only thing good about was the service.I gotta say that this Inn could use some improvement, starting with the cleanliness.
The hotel was great.Everyone was very helpful, stayed in the 2 bedroom suite.very roomy and clean.it had 2 bathrooms, kitchenette and dishwasher.we had 6 women in this suite and it was plenty of space.Fridays, dennys, golden corral, cracker barrel all within walking distance.right across from universal entrance.
The Holiday Inn Universal Studios was clean and the rooms were large. The hotel was going through improvements (new beds, maintenace on elevator etc.), but this did not interrupt nor interfere with my stay. I wwould definitely stay there again.
