Hotel was very clean. It needs some updating, but for the price, it was very nice. Our room was spotless. The staff was very nice and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I didn't like having to cross 4 lanes of traffic to get to the beach, but you get used to it and there are crosswalks with lights. Overall, pretty good accomodations for the price. The biggest thing is that it was clean and friendly!

My family stayed at this hotel for the Orange Bowl and found it to be in need of maintenance and repair. Rooms were not well maintained and the some of the staff were rude. I am a priority club member and never received any of the amenities that should have been provided. The best thing about this hotel was the 24 hour pizza shop around the block.

We were 7 nights in Fort Lauderdale and stayed in this hotel. Our first room was not nice. We asked for a newer one. The lady at the desk was very friendly and showed us room 703. I was totally dissatisfied with the hotel appearance. I was not impressed at all. The rooms need a complete renovation. The hallway smelled like it had been submerged in water (a good carpet cleaning would solve the problem). I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The only great about his hotel is the location beach across from the hotel.

This hotel is amazing in that all the rooms face the ocean. The views are breathtaking. Unfortunately there are no balconies, but you can go outside for that. Service was good.... excellent in the restaurant. I liked the fact that there are lots of small shops , restaurants, & bars right behind the hotel. This hotel is old, but seemed well maintained. My room looked very recently renovated.

HAD 3 ROOMS FOR 5 NIGHTS AND A WEDDING RECEPTION HERE AND WAS TREATED VERY RUDELY BY MANAGEMENT WHEN WE CONTACTED HIM ON MAID SERVICE NOT LEAVING TOWELS, TOILETS OVER FLOWING TUBS NOT DRAINING. WE GO ON VOCATION YEARLY TO FORT LAUDERDALE AND LIVED THERE FOR 5 YEARS AND CAN NOT BELIEVE. I WORK AT A MAJOR HOTEL AND CASINO IN ATLANTIC CITY AND NEVER WOULD I FIND THIS IGNORANCE IN MANAGEMENT

The people in the restaurant and the bellman were great. The front desk was a bit stand-offish..and the rooms were dirty and run down.
