Just returned from 4 day at The Shores. As a frequent traveler, I stay at many hotels. The Shores was one of the best. Large,clean, well appointed rooms. Great restaurant and pool side service.

Our wedding was handled professionally and the hotel itself was very nice. The bar food is expensive, but very good. In our guests opinion this was better than any of their hotels.

Spending 2 weeks at the resort and 4 of those days was with tropical storm Fay I was disapointed that the service was sub par. My wife and I have stayed here with our Jack Russell Terrier 3 times without 1 complaint. I know of no finer pet friendly resort anywhere!

The employees where great but there was no security whats so ever. Locals would come in and use the pool area and take the chairs and umbrellas. I walked in on the maid cleaning my room, took my billfold and laptop and was not challenged. Another time the maid had left and the door was open. Food was good but pricey. 4 stars is a stretch. 8 bucks a day for wi-fi.

We have been to alot of places and The Shores, by far, is the most beautiful, most comfortable, most relaxing place we have ever stayed. Service is superb and professional. I would sell my house and move in if I could! Can't wait to return!
