Location was nice but I expected service for the price. Our one bedroom suite was left unlocked by maid twice during our 10 day stay. Even though reported the first time, it occurred again 3 days later. Everything looked clean except for the baseboards...they were thick with dust. Bicycles were available for rent but not in very good ...
Sanibel Island is like nowhere else we've ever been in Florida. We had a wonderful time at Casa Ybel Resort. Our kids made friends with other visiting children, we took long walks on the beach, enjoyed meals poolside and loved having all the conveniences in our condo, it had everything we could have needed plus daily maid service. The girls ...

Best on Sanibel By Far
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/12/08
It's our first time at the Casa Ybel after visiting Sanibel a few years back. Our kids enjoyed the activities, shelling and pools while we rested on the beach. The staff is helpful and friendly, our place was clean and well furnished, the restaurant food is a little pricey but good, the food shack and bar near the pool is convenient. Best of ...

Great place

Recent renovations (due to a store a few years back) have improved the aesthetics of the condos. It's great to have your own kitchen and places to grill fresh seafood!
We loved the serenity, comfort and convenience of Casa Ybel. It is very conveniently located on Sanibel, near lots of shops and restaurants and not far off the main road. It was a short walk across a beautifully kept lawn to the beach which had amazing shelling opportunities when we were there. The resort is quiet, but with plenty to do. The ...

We just returned from our week vacation at Casa Ybel. The resort is beautiful. We enjoyed relaxing at the the pool and found our room to be clean, but dated. If you plan on going make sure that you stay in one of the newer two bedroom units. With most of the units you will have to walk up one or two flights of steps; this is not a resort for a ...
What I loved about Casa Ybel Resort was that it was an upscale resort that was family friendly. It was nothing but older couples and families there. The atmosphere was friendly and cordial, service was quick and accurate. Our suite, which was on the third floor and was a 2 story suite overlooking the Gulf, was absolutely breath taking. We were only ...

Casa Ybel is rich in history being built by the man who discovered the island in the 1800's. After going over the wooden bridge it was like we were in a whole new world free from the normal pressures of life, we were truley on vacation. They offer a Kids Club Program for a great price to help my two children have things to do on the trip. A bit ...

The BEST that we have ever been to.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/01/06
Very private setting, with a safe and secure feeling. We felt very comfortable letting our kids(12,14,17) walk down to the pool by themselves. The few children there are very well behaved. The ammenities are very nice the unit we stayed in (2 bedroom townhouse style) looked brand new and the view was fantastic. There was times when we ...

Our only choice onSanibel

Just booked our fourth stay at Casa Ybel. Perfect location, beautiful property, laid back atmosphere leads to a very relaxing experience. There's plenty to do if you wish and plenty of privacy if you don't. Yeah it's expensive, but paradise always has it's price.
