At first I was given a room on the very bottom floor of the Cripple Creek section which was kind of dark and scarey for me and my aunt but they quickly gave us a room on the very top and the view was spectacular. Nice view at the bottom too but I didn't want to stay down there. I believe you're paying for the views moreso than the rooms. ...

Slow, lackluster service

Dining room service was poor. Everyone at the entire resort was going at their own slow pace and made us feeling like we were bothering them. Food was average, rooms were average. At this overrated motel, only the view of Cheyenne Mountain was outstanding.
Drove in from Denver Intl Airport Thursday for a potential weekend retreat. Visually immaculate and check-in was smooth. Accomodations and view were satisfactory without making reservations. Check-out at for 1 pm- took a morning walk around the complex to gain a better idea about what we wanted to do (beautiful scenery/ climate). Activities ...
I've stayed here twice and both times experienced top-notch service. Check-in is very easy, the staff is professional, the resort itself is beautifully landscaped. The golf course is great and the food is great. I will definitely return.
When I hear the word resort for a place I am to be staying I expect something extraordinary. This place was nothing more than a giant HoJo with a nice lobby area. The rooms were on par with most places in the $75-$125 range, so I guess if you snag a descent deal it's not that bad, but I would never pay anything over $150. The pools ...
Upon checking in, the desk clerk had me initial the room rate of $199.99 per night (we had 2 rooms). When I checked out, the room rate went from $199.00 to $249.00 for the second and third nights. There was also a Facilities Service Charge of $15.00 per night per room added. I was told this is for the maid service (our sheets were never even ...

Do not go here

Cheyenne Mountain Resort is a rip off. I booked a small conference in February with an estimate on the number of rooms I would need. The conference was in July. I finalized the room count 5 weeks before we arrived and they are charging me for the "shortage" of rooms. Read the fine print in the contract before you sign up with these shysters - better off, go to the Broadmoor or some other quality resort.

MY WIFE AND I SPENT OUR HONEYMOON HERE (1 WEEK) AND IT WAS EVERYTHING AND MORE,THE ROOM,THE STAFF,THE VIEW WERE OUTSTANDING.THE GOLF COURSE WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD. WE WILL WITHOUT A DOUBT RETURN NEXT YEAR.
I took my out of town family to have lunch in the main dining room. They were about to close the lunch buffet and seemed to hurry us along on our choice for lunch. We ordered off of the ala carte menu. The waitress kept refilling our water and mumbled under her breath that the reason our food was taking so long was because somebody at our table ...
I've tried to work with the Cheyenne Mountain Resort on two different occasions to reserve large blocks of rooms and both times resort staff has been unresponsive and seemingly uninterested. I've left messages for the group sales office that were never returned, I've waited for responses about rates for several days. Overall, while the ...
