The rate seemed to be fair when calling around but when I arrived, I could see why it was on the cheaper side. I was told that there was an indoor pool so I got all my 4 boys ready to go swimming only to find out that the water was freezing and the hot tub had been converted to a baby pool (freezing cold) and when I mean converted...they put up a ...

excellent motel

This was a very clean and comfortable motel. Loved the breakfast, it had something for everyone. The pool was great. The staff was so nice and helpful, I felt right at home in this place. Thank you

worst ever and turning into a nightmare

We met friends at the Rodeway Inn Cortez, Co. Our friend paid for both our rooms for 1 night. The hotel was old and needs work. The area around the pool was falling apart and the area where they had tables and chairs set up outside the pool was dangerous because the chairs couldn't sit level. Do I have to give this place a star??

Without a doubt the worst hotel we've ever stayed in. Dirty, Old, clogged Toilet, Leaky moldy shower/bathroom/ spider webs/ nasty carpet/ the list goes on and on. Service was nonexistant. Beverage machines were empty/hotel lobby had 2 postcards for sale--The only good thing was location, which was close to far better accomadations!

Best Hotel in Cortez Colorado

I have stayed at all the hotels in Cortez, and this hotel, when it was the former Best Western Sands. Since the Carefree Inn folks took over the hotel has been upgraded and the rooms are wicked clean. The staff has become so sincere and friendly, the rates are so much better now, I feel guilty paying my bill when I check out. I have compared there ...
