    I was surprised to find out this was a Howard Johnson. It was quite the charming historic hotel. Loved it! Service was great, the entire hotel was spotless, lovely courtyard breakfast, quaint tropical pool area. Great views!

    This was the cleanest, classiest hotel for the price that I have ever encountered and I am sorry that it was sold and converted to apartments. At least the owners now have another hotel in Burbank called the Coast Anabelle Hotel and most of the staff is now there offering the same great service.
