This hotel is a wonderful place to stay! The staff was extraordinarily friendly and the rooms were elegant and cozy. Also, the historical elements of this hotel is quite intriguing because it was built by Charlie Chaplin way back in the Romantic Era of the late 1920's.
This hotel is great because it caters to everybody, from normal folks ...

The Montecito Inn was great...the staff was so friendly, the rooms were beautiful, and the town was magnificent. Can't wait to return!

Very comfortable enviornment with excellent shopping and dining facilities within walking distance. With quick access to highway 101 there are so many sites one can access. The beach offers a relaxing atmosphere to couple looking to spend some romantic time alone. The Santa Barbara zoo offers an activity that people of all ages can enjoy.

Loud hotel and rude staff
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/07/05
I advise not to stay at this hotel on the weekends as they often have entire wedding parties staying there and there are loud footsteps, doors slamming, people laughing and yelling until the wee hours. Poor accommodation for best suite
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/23/04
We just arrived and paid for one of the hotels bests suites at $450 per night. What did we get, a beautiful room on the first floor facing the intersection. What was the managers comments? You did not ask where it was. Buyer beware. If this is of assistance to anyone considering a suite at this hotel, I strongly suggest you check to see where they are located and what they face. I would of been better off in a cheap suite with a view.
