A/C was outdated. Worked only so well. It worked fine at first then stopped. When I informed management-they would do nothing but offer an electric fan. I booked this room at their website and got a great deal for hotels around the Oakland airport. I travel alot, and couldn't believe the rate was less than expedia and other web engines. ...

It was nice and clean and more than I expected. I had my In Laws stay that and had never seen a room before. I was a bit nervous but it was all worth it.

First of all the people....well the ONE employee that answers the phone is unsure where the hotel is located....
Second, the A/C didn't work on a very hot day and they expected me to wait until the Maint man got his tools out from under his Camaro to fix the A/C.
We left and went to the Marriot downtown Oakland for less money.

The main part of the room was big enough for a person in a wheelchair or scooter, however, there were no grab bars in the bathroom, and the bathroom was VERY small, making it difficult to maneuver around. The room had THREE closets in it, which easily could have been knocked out and expanded into a bigger bathroom.

Very beautiful location right on the bay! Many business offices located within walking distance, food and other services available within walking distance as well. Would recommend anytime!

On the whole the place is a good value for the money. Nothing fancy at all. But, some of the people working there need a course in some sort of hotel managment and how to handle customers.

I will admit that I do not require much from a hotel room, just that it be CLEAN, have a private bath and a good location. This hotel met and exceeded all my expectations.
