The thing that really stood out to us was the exceptional service! They were very helpful and the rooms were great too. I will never stay at another brand of hotel!! You must stay here!!

I stayed at this hotel on 6/16 and was amazed how clean and newly designed this hotel was. The rooms are everything you would expect from and top Marriott hotel and more. The construction that the other reviews wrote about are now all done. I checked in very late and the guy at the front desk was very helpful and went out of his way too take care of all of our needs.

Love the location. Everybody very friendly. We stay at that location 5-6 x a year near UCSD while visiting my daughter. Parking a bit high but other than that, very happy.

good location and good value for a hotel in la jolla. not exactly la jolla village, but close enough and it's next to a shopping mall and a lot of restaurants around that area. as far as the room goes, it's okay, not bad, not exceptional, -- i'd say average - above average...parking is pricey too, but i guess it's because the location is la jolla.
