We had the most wonderful visit at this hotel. We had a wedding to attend on 3/16/08 and my family booked eight (8) rooms and they were all very nice with a fire place in each room. This hotel is one that I will always go back to. The room was amazing w/ a beautiful view of the ocean, the room was clean, the breakfast was good, and the customer service was incredible. We were assisted by Mary from the beginning of our stay until the end. She was very helpful, very friendly, and seemed very sincere when she asked if we had a pleasant stay. We will go back!

We loved the ambiance of these accommodations. The morning breakfast was well done, too. Very nice and we hope to come back and stay again!

We stayed at Cottage Inn by the Sea in February and it was the nicest room I had stayed in in the Pismo area. The view was beautiful.

We stayed here last year and are staying here again this year. The rooms are just lovely. Cozy, quaint and basically a Cottage room. Walls are wallpapered instead of dull paint and the fireplace just adds that special touch. Open your window and hear the ocean for a excellent nights sleep. I would recommend this establishment for both couples and families. A++++++++++++++

room smelled like dirt, carpet very dirty, countertops and toilet seat not clean, left over towels in patio area from previous guest. Didnt feel comfortable walking on floors with bare feet. Will never stay again. Room backed up to noisy freeway.

Our family of 4 loved this place so much that we came back for a second year in a row. Definitely ask for an ocean-view on the second floor for a beautiful view all day. The room is cozily decorated Laura Ashley style. The direct access to the beach below led us to tidepools & sea caves to explore. We'll be back again!
