They charged me double stayed there for 10 nights and charged my credit card for 2 rooms for 10 nights! had to call them and still waiting for my money back!
since they don't have any reception is a bit hard to chase them!

This hotel is practically in my backyard but I had to stay there because of the history. For such an "old" hotel, it is holding up well. Rooms and corridors had a nice theme, roof top pool offered amazing views. The bar downstairs had a very friendly staff but was waaaay over priced. $14 for a martini? My room faced sunset boulevard which offered a fantastic view but a lot of extra noise. Would stay here again.

The location on Sunset is great. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The upper floor rooms have great views. However, the rooms we had were worn and dirty. Coming to LA for business, I decided on staying here. After being given a gorgeous room with a Sunstrip Strip view, I was told I had to change rooms as this one was scheduled for renovation that night. While I was not happy, I oblidged. I was completely shocked with this Hyatt Hotel! I usually stay at the Hyatt throughout the U.S. and the world and I have never seen such a low standard. The hotel wasn't worth its price. The rooms were dirty, smelly and dark and the cleaning staff didn't take out the trash daily. Although the location was wonderful, the hotel was a huge dissapointment!

My friend and I stayed at the Hyatt West Hollywood and it was the best decision we made. It was all about LOCATION, we were close to the Viper Room, Sky Bar, (can't recall name) but it was a well known Comedy Bar where Richard Pryor and other comedians started out, and other Sunset Strip hot spots. We were very much satisfied with the overall service at the hotel and if we had to do it again we will stay there again.

During our visit to LA we were fortunate enough to have stayed in this beautiful hotel. The view overlooking Hollywood was fabulous. While our time there was limited we made the most of it. We indulged in room service often. It was always the best of quality and service. The staff at the Hyatt was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were some of the cleanest I have seen. I will choose Hyatt from now on when I am given the option.

This hotel was not up to what I expect of a Hyatt. The room was dirty (carpet stained) and pretty barren compared to most Hyatt hotels I have visited in the US and around the world.

More suited for a younger/party growd.
