My sister-in-law stayed with you on July 11-13 when she came to visit. She had nothing but positive things to say about her stay. She thought the hotel looked so nice and freshly painted, that her room and bed were so comfortable, and that even with groups of people coming through – it was quiet. We joined her at your pool to visit – ...

Our softball team had a very nice stay. Close to softball fields. Lots of nearby restaurants. The girls loved the pool. BBQ area was very helpful for a large group with families. All of us had a pleasant stay and will be back.

Dirty Travelodge in Santa Maria
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/23/08
We didn't like the smelly carpet with big stains and the yellowish towels (not white).
It's better to say no breakfast (only coffee and muffins) rather then saying "free buffet breakfast".
Expecially we did not like the extra charge on c. card statement (it was not mentioned at the hotel) for $1.50. The reaason, very simple: ...
Average lodge. Large rooms. Needs to be remodeled. Good value for the area. Free breakfast waffles. In the heart of downtown Santa Maria. Carpets and bed looked worn.

UPON ARRIVING AT THE HOTEL WE WERE INSTANTLY IN AWE, AS WE ENTERED THE BEAUTIFUL LOBBY WITH ITS IMPRESSIVE MARBLE FLOOR. THE DESK STAFF WERE EXTREMLY FREINDLY AND HELPFUL AS MY FAMILY AND I ASKED SEVERAL QUESTIONS ABOUT THE LOCAL AREA, WHILE CHECKING IN.
OUR ROOM WAS AS EQUALLY IMPRESSIVE AS THE LOBBY HAD BEEN. THERE WERE NEW APPLIANCES ...

Will never stay at a Guesthouse Inn Again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/16/05
The room had no air conditioning, the smoke alarm was not connected, just wires coming out of the wall. No coffee maker, not even a plug in the sink. Lots of visible stains on the shades and telephone. The inside perimeter had about two inches deep of dust/dirt. I wasn't expecting this for $100 per night.
Had to stay on an unplanned layover. This hotel is in the middle of the business strip, one block from the high school stadium and the fair grounds. The hotel gave me a huge room that could sleep an army for less $ than the budget hotels. The rooms were basicly equal to a Motel 6 or Days Inn. All this on a summer weekend!! I didn't even see a ...

Bare-bones and Inexpensive
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/02/04
If you're a trucker bound for San Francisco or LA and need a cheap place to catch a couple of hours' sleep before resuming your journey, you may want to consider this hotel. It's convenient to Highway 101 and across the street from a Carrow's restaurant. Other than a pool, there are no amenities to speak of, but the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the price is right.
