I stayed for 4 nights in November 2007 to attend a conference. The hotel was extremely noisy. The racket from ongoing demolition and renovation starts promptly at 8:00 AM. Walking to my room was like going through a constructions zone with bouncy plywood boards on the floor and dust everywhere.

The manager was pleasant but totally ineffective in mitigating the problem with the noise. I will not go back.

First I must say, the suite "looks" nice, comfortable. however I was told by spindrift there was a kitchen, so me and my girlfriend plan to make breakfast together in the morning. turns out there isn't any. the hotel was great. the room was great. the food was great. the pool was great. the service was great. i would stay there again.

This was quite possibly the noisiest hotel I have ever visited. The bed was against the wall facing the hallway, and we could hear carts and people going up and down the hall all night. The rooms have hardwood floors, so we heard our neighbors upstairs walking around all night as well. The ice machine sounded like a machine gun going off in a war zone. I was totally disappointed with this hotel.

Great place to go with your honey. The rooms are decorated in a rustic wood style. The bed, fireplace and bathroom are great. Highly recommend.

Great location close to shopping, Fisherman's Wharf and downtown restaurants. All suites with gas fireplaces, decent breakfasts and afternoon tea.
