Clean hotel, but very small rooms and an older hotel. Wireless internet access available in common area, but not in your own hotel room. Very convenient location. We got a deal on the hotel room because we were staying for a conference. I do not think we will stay here again, especially once we have children. I need more modern conveniences than this hotel had to offer.

We spent 2 nights in march, and absolutely loved it!! The room was very nice, spacious, nice decor.. we found few long hairs in the toilet, and stuff in the bin.. but otherwise it was perfect located, nice concierge.. we loved San Francisco. Hope we'll be back one day..

Room way to small. You can't leave bathroom door open because it will block door to exit room. NO DRESSERS in room. Have to live out of your suite-case. Would not recommend when more then 1 person in room. A NON-SMOKING HOTEL. Would hope that I never have to come back to this hotel
This hotel is really close to the Moscone Center and has several good places to eat around it. The rooms are older and small but they are clean and comfortable. i would not recommend this place for someone traveling with kids - but I would recommend it for business travelers.
TINY room, but clean and with basic amenities. Nice hard bed. Very few cable channels. Very small bathroom. Do not bring a lot of luggage! Plus the restaurant in the lobby is of the greasy-smell variety, which permeates the first at least 3 floors of the hotel. You'll smell like you slept in the fryer.
Stayed for 8 days on the 8th floor in a very nice but small room. Nice big TV (not too many channels though),small refrigerator, easy internet access, big fluffy towels and even a big fluffy bathrobe. I think the 8th floor has the "best" rooms. Great location close to shopping, transportation and museums and tons of restaurants. We ...

What a horrible place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/28/08
The rooms are very small, do not provide any storage apart from a few coat hangers. We had to keep our clothes on the floor for 5 days. The house keeping is very basic (making bed and clean bathroom), removing the rubbish in bins is optional and the carpet don't seem to be vaccumed very often.... this is a very old building in major need of serious upgrades.. Definitely a place to be avoided
Rooms: Small yet quaint. You think the teapot from Beauty and the Beast is going to come out and start singing to you because of its antique feel and look. The beds look old but actualy feel quite nice. The four large pillows and the comforter keeps it comfortable and accomadating. Free wireless is a definate plus!! TV is small but with wireless ...

Horrible Service!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/20/08
I'm from out of state, and my wife and I were on vacation to S.F. Our flight came in late, therefore the car rental was closed. The Pickwick decided to charge us for parking anyways, even though we didn't have a car to park!
We had also used a credit card to book our room, but for some reason, Pickwick felt it necessary to charge us ...

Horrible Experience and Customer Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/23/08
I only live about 20 minutes from the hotel and made reservations for my birthday to stay due to it's close proximity to several clubs/bars I frequent. The weekend of my birthday there was a torrential rainstorm and the overnight stay just didn't seem like a good idea. So I called the toll free reservation hotline to see what would happen ...
