The hotel was under renovation and there was dust, dirt and ducttape everywhere. I was greeted by a sign in the parking lot that read "Park at your own risk: We are not responsible if your car is towed, stolen, fire, vandalised, or removed!" I don't understand why so many people have been complaining abot this hotel, I was so scared before my trip to San Diego, but the hotel was nice and clean and even got the swimming pool service was also good and receptionist nice, I really dont understand what people expect for that price, you go to the city to visit and enjoy and just leave your clothes and sleep in hotel???

For the money, this place is just fine. The room was large enough to fit five adults comfortably.
On the map it looks like you're right next to the beach; you're close to the water but it's not a beach across the street. You only have to go a quarter mile or so to get to the beach, though.
Service was fine. The room was fairly clean. Good value.

We asked to see a room before deciding to stay here, and the room was not very nice. The bathrooms were moldy, the place just was not well kept. The price was good and that's why we decided to check it out, but I would not want to put my wife in that dirty situation. Plus, there were lots of foreigners just hanging around with nothing to do. Thismotel offered good service, but wasa bit rough on the edges asthetically. Wallpaper and paint were peeling or missing in places. HOWEVER, this was a safe place and for San Diego, a heck of a great deal. San Diego is not a town in which you stay in the room.other than to sleep and go in the morning.

Service was good, and folks were courtious. Bathrooms were clean as were the towels etc.All in all, I would do it again
