I made a reservation a week in advance and then traveled 400 miles to arrive and find out that they did not have a room for me. They could have call my home or my cell to let me know, so that i could have made other arrangements. The rude women at the front desk informed me that the hotel had in fact been full for two day. Why did i even make a ...
The room needs to be remodeled but it is clean. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The only problem I had was my 10 year old daughter left her ipod on the bedside table in the morning and was gone when we came back in the afternoon.
Black mold in the bathroom. No Bathtub (traveling with a 1 year old). Smells like the zoo. The beds are hard and small. The screen door fell of when I went to open it.. They really just need to tare down this place and start over. The staff was decent. Check out after the first night and we are going to the Marriott. SCREW THIS PLACE.!

It is better if you can avoided

Arrived at night for business in the following day. The room was cold since air conditioning was completely off. It took a couple of hours to warm the room. I boosted the heat since I couldn’t sleep while the noisy fan is on. No chance to sit on a chair and watch TV, only to lay in bed. The round table takes more space and offers less use. ...
This hotel is awful. The deadbolt wasn't functional (had to sleep with the chairs against the door). The wallpaper was peeling off the wall. There was mold in the shower. I will never stay here again. It was gross.

I would love to go back to this hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/22/07
This hotel has a friendly, relaxed feel to it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool area is a lovely place to lie in the sun and chill out. Starbucks and several good bars and places to eat within walking distance although the food at the hotel is very nice and inexpensive. I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely go back to this hotel if I visited Sacramento again.

I checked out (i.e. ran like #%**) at 9 p.m.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/24/06
Located in a marginal area near downtown, the exterior and the lobby of this hotel are nice. However, once I exited the elevator to my room the reality is revealed. There were holes in the hallway ceiling from leaks and the place smelled as old as it looked (they tried to cover the smell with deodorizors). My business trip was in November and my ...

We always go back because we love it
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/10/06
We love the location and the staff. It always feels like we are coming to a personable place that is safe and comfortable. The location to the downtown area is perfect and walkable. There is plenty of parking across the street. The entire hotel is non-smoking so the air is always fresh. We have always stayed in rooms with balconies and, on a ...
The room was comfortable but I did not get the room I reserved. It may have been because of the large number of conventions in town. The food in the restaurant was very good but on one room service order I did not get what I ordered. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. Best of all was the location, it was within easy walking distance to all ...

This hotel is old, dirty and our room smelled like horse piss! It is pet friendly and I think Roy Rogers stayed in this room with Trigger. Trigger had an accident. The whole place is run down and not worth any price.
