This place was over rated on the website. Our two rooms were tiny, old and outdated. Time warp. The toilet overflowed in the middle of the night. We were booked for 2 nights and i had to leave after one and even skipped the breakfast. The place was a big turn off. All of it. Dumpy antiques, old carpet, time to update and move on. Hated it. Could not get out of there fast enough.
When I first found this Inn on the Internet and saw the photos I had high expectations. Once I arrived, my expectations were exceeded, by a whole lot! This bed and breakfast is the most beautiful place I have stayed. The service was first class. The bed was super comfortable. There are not enough good things to say about Casa Laguna. we went and stayed at this inn for our anniversary. The place is very pretty and well kept. The staff is friendly ...very comfortable bedding ..access to a good dvd/music collection.. good breakfast/tea/snacks
main flaw was the rooms are quite cramped ..and get very hot in the summers ... is not on the beach ..the beach is quite far off and so is the downtown. cannot leave windows open for privacy and noise reasons.
I stayed recently with a friend, and this is an interesting and well cared for property. The staff is pleasant, but if you want to see the beach, sleep well, or walk anywhere, go elsewhere. The Casa overlooks the highway (read noisy), not the beach. Downtown and all that it offers is too far North to walk so you are forced to drive and then have to ...
We are former, long-time residents of Laguna Beach (10+ years). We recently moved away for business reasons but still have strong ties to and lots of friends in town. When we decided to come for a visit, we looked for a place to stay that was in keeping with what we love about Laguna Beach - a great view, quiet comfort, casual atmosphere and easy ...
