Pros: Nice hotel with proximity to all amenities, they like pets and have good cookies and wine in the evenings
Cons: Not very friendly staff, bordering on rude for some. Very unhelpful, talked about towncar service but never once available at all throughout a full week of stay there. Sent me up to the wrong room on my very first day in SF ...

Just came back from a 4 night stay and only have wonderful things to say about this lovely boutique hotel. Location was excellent, staff was exceptionally helpful and the extras, like wine at 5:00 PM, fresh baked sweets in the afternoon and hot coffee in the AM made for a perfect trip.
When I did have a slight problem - our room had a slight ...
We love the Triton and stay here whenever we're in SFO, either on business or for pleasure. The eclectic decor of this boutique hotel make for a fun trip every time.
I travel to San Francisco frequently and once I found this little hotel ,I have been a regular. Conveniently located with a shuttle from SFO and a car rental agency down the block, do not bother with airport rental, as the parking fees are excessive. I simply rent a car for my day trip to wine country, it ends up being the cheapest way to go.

Hip, cool and close to everything. Cafe De La Presse is right next door. Financial District, China Town and Union Square are all close. Very nice.

So close to everything you don't need to rent a car! Very modern design but cool and fun staff. Walk right out the door and you've got Chinatown right there. Perfect place to stay to be in the thick of things.
Great location, great people...the rock n roll theme of the place is awesome. The Hotel Triton is convienantly located near Union Square, which is close to everything. We really enjoyed our stay there and would definately come back.
