We enjoyed this place very much. The staff was very friendly and helpful with our questions about the area. The rooms were immaculate. It was VERY quiet! Slept great! Will definitely be back.

Hotels are always the least of my worries but this one was surprisingly nice! If you stop here...you must go to Solvang which is only a 5 minute drive and VERY tourist friendly.
You can't go to PEA SOUP ANDERSONS without ordering PEA SOUP!
I had a bowl of Pea Soup with a grilled cheese sandwich...delicious!

(-) Furnishings are dated.

(-) No wireless internet access - only direct connect (they supply a 2ft cable & it's very inconveniently located!).

(+) But it's reasonably clean & quiet.

(+) And, the beds are OK for a night's sleep.

(+) The price was fair for what we got.

We drove up to see the Christmas splendor of Solvang for the post-Thanksgiving holiday weekend. We checked into a nice double-bedded room with a sliding glass door onto the courtyard. A fridge and microwave was in the room. (Long's Drugs nearby, was able to stock up on goodies). The spa was very nice and HOT!!! I didn't wake up in time for ...

We found the staff to be very nice and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The choices for the complimentary breakfast could have offered something healthy but there were many choices of danish, muffins and toast.
I'll stay there again.

The people working at the motel were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable but the pocket door to the shower and toilet did not lock. The continental breakfast was average. We would have enjoyed fresh cream or milk with our coffee rather than the fake powder packets. It was nice having the restaurant right next door. Would we stay there again? Yes.

The charm of this place, next door to the pea soup restaurant, is related to the relaxing attitude of the staff, very clean rooms, comfortable gazebo for complimentary breakfast. Small putting surface and delightful pool make this top rated. Uricacid
