Our family had a family celebration, and all of us stayed at the Western Holiday Lodge. There were about 15 families. The proprietors worked overtime to make our stay pleasant. It was great. The breakfast was filling, and the rooms are very clean. We can't wait to go back. Our room backed onto a nice patio and a short walk to the river.

Didn't want to leave!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/11/09
This was our first stopover on our 7 day Roadtrip and we were VERY pleased when we arrived after a long drive. The property was on a gorgeous lot backed up against the Horse River and there was plenty of lush grass for my dog to run around on. We didn't care what the room looked like after seeing the great lot, but were even more pleased with ...
We arrived here after a full day of driving and were more than pleasantly surprised!! There was room to breath!!! A huge lot for the kids and dog to run around, the room was huge with cathedral ceilings plus the balcony!!! We only stayed one night, but I could have stayed here a few more days!!

Do Not Make a Reservation at this Holet
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/23/09
I called to cancel my reservation and I was told I did not have one. I later found a charge on my credit card for $296.97 for a room I did not use. I called to complain about it and was told it was a busy weekend and noone would have told me I didn't have a reservation. When in fact I called every hotel in Three Rivers. I do not trust these people, I was taken advantage of during a time I could not come to Three Rivers.
There was a good feeling from the owner at first. Helpful and polite, helped me carry orange juice to our room since my entire family was still sleeping since we got in very late the night before he even made the waffles for my kids."How things can change in a day." I received a call from the owner saying my kids had broke the sofa bed? ...

Very Nice
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/16/08
1. Service- the Front desk personnel were outstanding. Always smiling and helpful. Brenda was always available to help as were the managers, Mr and Mrs Hossain. Hospitality and servce rates a 10 out of 10. 2.Rooms were nice, close to the Park, which was the main reason for the visit. Our purpose was not to visit a Ritz Carlton but to have a ...
Three of us going backpacking in Sequoia stayed there two nights - before and after the trip - and had a great experience! The manager is right there, very welcoming and extremely friendly and helpful - a family atmosphere. Everyone seemed very efficient, friendly, helpful and especially well-mannered (rare!). Some faucets were hard to operate. ...

Not much for the money
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/29/08
Its was a comfortable bed close to the park, none of the other motels in Three Rivers seemed much better. The building is very old and looks to be a fire trap. Don't stay more than 3 nights. The pool was nasty, but we enjoyed playing horse shoes in the lawn area. Vasila isn't that far away for resturants.
The hotel was a great stay for us. We had 4 people and stayed in a double. The hotel staff was very nice. The hotel also had horse shoes, basketball court, swing set, swimming pool and hot tub. Just behind the hotel was the river that flows from the Seqouia National Park and was very beautiful to walk and sit by. The room was very big for the ...
