The Rodeway Inn Bishop offered very basic ammenities. The rooms were for the most part quite clean (I have stayed there many times) and the service was great. There is a downside however, and that is the price; comprable motels go for 50-55 in the area, whereas this goes 63-72. thats up to $20 a night more. This is a great motel chain and i would suggest it to anyone not brave enough to experiment with the other, smaller motels in the area.

An above average motel and not a bad place to spend the night if a basic motel is what you are loooking for. Good location, just off the main street in Bishop and close to a couple of reasonable eateries. The room was comfy, clean and spacious. Service was good. Stop on the way to Mammoth
By ppilot2, 04/17/04
We stayed here in 2002 and 2003 on our way to Mammoth. The hotel is a Plain Jane motel. If there are "spectacular mountain" views we didn't see them. The poolside rooms are facing the pool which is in the middle of the parking lot, so you look at the pool over the cars. We paid $72 double plus tax which seemed pricy. I don't want to sound negative because it is a nice enough place but should cost under $50
