Our room was small but comfortable enough, others in our party had larger rooms. I guess that depends on which floor you stay on. The room was clean but had the scent of years gone by. It reminded me of what I would expect a haunted house to look and feel. The food and service was good.
I would stay again, the excitement was excellent and fun.

We came to this hotel because of the hauntings. We didn't get scared at all althought it was creepy to stay here. The city was packed due to the St. Patrick's Day crowd but that didn't bother me. This is a wonderful historic hotel however realize the 4 star cost per room is for the history and charm of the hotel not a 4 star quality room. The cups for coffee had a sticky substance in the bottom. The breakfast buffet was not ready when they opened and the staff was the chef who didn't know where the waitress was. My daughter had a lovely wedding at the Crescent. Staff is courteous, friendly and efficient and the hotel seems laid-back but well-run and clean. Our double bed room was extremely spacious for a two night stay, for any hotel but especially a historic hotel. Maid service was good. The room was well-appointed.
