First of all the Days Inn on 3333 E. Van Buren is closed up ! The "new" airport Days Inn is horrible , freezing cold swimming pool and the rudest manager I've ever had to deal with ! On seeing this motel cancelled my reservations area looked very dangerous , but this manager stated he was going to charge me for one night's stay ...

Very poor shuttle service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/15/07
My husband stayed at this motel the night of Feburary 14. He said the accomodations were all right and he really enjoyed the 50s style restaurant where the service was good! However - the night he flew into the Phoenix airport, he had to call for the motel shuttle three times and it took them an hour and a half to finally pick him up!! As close ...
Worst hotel I have EVER stayed in. The neighborhood is seedy and dangerous. Surrounding motels are all "X rated movies in the rooms" kinds of places. The room was dirty, shabby, nothing but a bed and table with a view of the parking lot and a dirty bathroom. Heard a frightening, screaming, drunken domestic dispute taking place in the ...

Nice Stay

This was a good hotel for my short stay. Very clean and nice staff. Good location, close to the airport. Able to get right in and out again.
Wanting to stay close to the airport will not be as important anymore. Our hotel room could have been much cleaner than it was. Having someone elses hair on my bath towels was pretty bad. But toliet water dripping from the bathroom above was the last straw. We won't be staying there anymore.

Checked in late and found room was muggy. When we tried to turn on the air conditioning it didn't work so we called the front desk. We were told that the air was off and couldn't be turned on but they would bring a fan. The fan arrived and made the room "bearable" but not comfortable. Showered and started drying hair and the ...

Fine for a stopover
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/25/06
Okay for an overnight. Nice little outdoor pool area, putting green. Dingy Hallways but servicable rooms. No problems. Fine beds. Great value for the price. If my kids were along I think they would enjoy it.
The hotel itself is not in a particularily good part of the city. The lobby is nice and clean, and the people behind the desk are very helpful. The pool and hot tub were clean. When we entered the room, however, we were overcome by the smell of mothballs. We had to open our windows for at least an hour to get rid of the smell. The beds were ...
