I would rather sleep in my car!The hotel clerks were very rude. We were promised a coffee maker in the room, there was none. The air conditioning did not work, we were told that there was nothing wrong with it. When we asked for extra towels to go swimming we were told that we would have to pay extra for them. Pleasant Stay, great value.We stayed here on a spur of the moment thing. The hotel looked very nice from the outside and was just as nice on the inside. They did have some renovations going on, so I am sure its only going to look better. The room we were put in was very clean and nice. clean, comfortable and convenientconsidering we were just minutes away from UAB and we did not spend an arm and leg at one of the hotels near the hospital, we were happy. The fact that we had a clean room with comfortable beds, we were even happier. Pleasant StayStayed here while taking our son to Children's Hospital. The staff and service was great. The managers, front desk and housekeepers were very accommodating. It was very quit for a hotel near the interstate. No noise to be heard from the bar on the property. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and the beds were wonderful. DIRTY, DISGUSTING, MOLDY, RAT HOLE!WE STAYED HERE BECAUSE WE WERE MISLED ON THE INTERNET. THIS WAS BY FAR THE MOST AWFUL HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AT.AFTER REQUESTING MANAGEMENT I SEE WHY.
