We drove to Huntsville from Kentucky to visit the U.S. Space and Rocket Center. We walked into this Marriott to check room availibility because it is right there at the Space Center. We were greeted with warmth and an available room. When we got up to our room it was VERY clean. The view we had were the Space Rockets, which our son loved, and ...
My husband, son, 84 year old mother and myself drove from Michigan to Alabama for a funeral. When we arrived at this hotel, we encountered problem after problem. It started with the rate that we reserved the hotel at being raised over 50% of the secured price with a credit card hold, to being told that services could be refused to us because we ...

Not this Marriott
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/06/08
Didn't care for this Marriott. Seemed a little dated and the rooms were small. The restaurant was just average. Just didn't like the overall feel of this place.

The best hotel in that town
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/27/07
I was impressed at the quality of service rendered and how wonderfully "kept up" the hotel is even though it is an older building. I payed $185.80 for the room and wasnt too happy that internet requires a charge but I found out that all hotels of this caliber charge for internet. I saw a lady get very rude with a front desk person about ...

Poor Value compared to Hampton Inns
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/05/07
Have stayed here many times but was surprised to find the Hampton Inns in Huntsville to be of equal quality and a far better value.

Not the Usual Marriot
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/14/06
The location is wonderful, however this is not like the Marriots that I normally stay in around the world. We had a reservation and were given the Cabana. It was nothing more that a room that I would expect at a $50 Motel. I paid $114 per night. I would say that the Hampton Inn is ever bit as nice as this Marriot. I have not doubt that the main building is wonderful, but not the Cabana for the money. Be sure what you are getting.
