very acomadtaing, no extra charges, clean, good location, better than the other dozen i stayed at in daytona for bike week. reasonable priced, no rip off

I have stayed thair a few times and it is a grate place to stay. the pople that work thair are the best, and the rooms are clean and safe. the beach is right thair and you can get to eney shop, for food or gifts. and i cant wait to go back to Fl. and stay at the Makai julie

Run as fast as you can, toward anywhere but here ! We did right to the Hilton !
We were hoping for a nice oceanfront place, we could live for a few days, like home. Cook in and injoy the beach for a few days ..
But not in this place, we stayed 1 night, and could not take the dampness and moldy smell, leaky airconditioner, and out right dirty ...

The exhaust fan in the bathroom roared like a tornado; the TV didn't work; the worn beds creaked with old age; and the room was filthy.

We have been going to the Makai for 20+ years and introduced our son to the Makai and the ocean some 17 years ago. We meet our dear friends that we spend our week with at the Makai. We cherish our memories of the beach and the beautiful ocean view.

What a dive!!! The place needs major upgrades and improvements. It was also dirty. It looks nothing like the pictures.
Save yourself the money and don't stay here

The Makai is a great place to stay in Daytona. The people are very friendly and accomodating. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. It is nice and very affordable.

The Makai is the best...My friends and I went on Spring Break of our Sophmore year in high school. There were 5 of us girls and it was awesome...We also made friends that we kept in touch with and that visit us on some weekends....CANT WAIT UNTIL THIS SPRING BREAK WE LOVE THE MAKAI!!!!!
