I've stayed at the Belle for years and had some good times. Always a bargain and the restaurants are good. Staying there over the Thanksgiving weekend will be the last time. First night only enough towers for one person. They do an incredible intrusive "room check" twice a day. Even though we had put out the Do Not Disturb sign ...
If you are lucky enough to get in a boat room -- go for it. But if you are assigned to a Tower room (either New Orleans or Bourbon) don't waste your time & money. The rooms are bare. No coffee pots, no hair dryer, limited t.v. channels (not the same as the boat rooms) and no iron or ironing board. You just get a room. And they ...
I worked at the Edgewater and Belle for 5 years. I was responsible, never called in sick, showed up on time, never late and got along with people until the new owners and managers showed up. Not only did they change my days off without warning, but I had to give up my only weekly activity. Then when I was dealing on the crap table, a player was ...
We have been to the Belle before, and had 'mixed' experiences. This time we came for the price, and were very pleased with what we got! The room was clean, large (we had a king bed) and the bed was FANTASTIC! VERY comfortable! I suppose if there were any negatives it would be the hallways, but we don't spend much time in the halls ...

09-10-09 to 09-17-09 was the third time we stayed at the "Belle". First two were fine but this time it was terrible. The carpets and walls in our rooms and corridors were absolutely filthy and in need of either paint or new wall paper. The housekeepers made the beds and removed dirty linen but did not vacuum, replace tissues or soap. ...

This visit to Laughlin we did not stay at the Belle but we did play and eat there. The casino paid fair but we never have a lot of luck gambeling, the food was good as always and reasonablely priced.
Even on the trips where we don't stay at the Belle we always play there and enjoy ourselves.
I LIKE THIS PLACE ALOT. MY SON AND I HAVE GONE 6 YEARS IN A ROW AFTER HIS LAST DAY OF SCHOOL EACH YEAR. EACH YEAR WE GOT A FREE ROOM WHICH WAS REALLY NICE. SOMETIMES WE UPGRADED TO THE BOAT ROOMS FOR $5.00 EACH NIGHT. SINCE NEW OWNERSHIP TOOK PLACE,THEY DON'T OFFER THAT ANYMORE. I DON'T GET THEIR POSTCARDS ANYMORE EITHER WITH THEIR ...
Perhaps if the Owner of the Colorado Belle treated their employees with humantarian regard they would be smiling. The Marnell Group does not provide medical insurance for the majority of their employees. They manipulate the system so that the TAX PAYERS's must pay for Medical Benefits via SOCIAL SERVICE PROGRAMS. The BELLE and Edgewater hire ...
