The Monterey Hotel was a pleasant surprise. A historic hotel with antiques and lots of attention to detail. The staff was really very nice and knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast was more than the usual cont. breakfast and the cookies were awesome that they service in the afternoon.

noisy from the street. elevator was broken. thin walls. dirty floors and dirty bathroom. the shower didn't hold it temperature. old sheets. no a/c. the towels where old, stained, and bad. i wouldn't stay here!!!
