Terrible service and cleanliness.Not recommended.

There was so much confusion by the staff. Everyone was running around busily, in the restaurant and at the front desk. Of course that means bad service. No one communicates with eachother and they all seem untrained. The first morning, there was a table to what appeared to be a continental breakfast, but the waiter in the restaurant didn't ...

My first experience at Holiday Inn Select - Miramar was in August of 2006 at which time I was there visiting my nephew prior to his deployment to Iraq. Great continental breakfast in the morning: Cereal, toast, muffins, pastry, bagels, oatmeal, yogurt, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, orange juice. Clean rooms, the work out room is nice, and the pool and spa are fun.

A Buyer beware...

We scheduled an "ON-LINE" reservation that provided us with a discount of about $4 per day. We called two weeks in advance to cancel and were told we were going to be billed a whopping $188.96 for a room we will not and have not ever stayed in. In two weeks I'm sure another customer would have called to reserve the room.

Nice and quiet. The contenential breakfast was basic, but adequate. Rooms were nice and clean. Refridgerator, Microwave, and coffee maker in the the room was nice. Large clean bathroom.

Reservations were made quickly and easily online, room was ready to go when I arrived, and checkout was smooth, as well. Will likely stay here again next year when I come down for the next volleyball tournament at Alliant University.

I stayed for five nights with a group and we had numerous questions regarding directions, places to eat, etc. for the front desk. Each question was answered well, with maps and dierections available. The entire staff was truly devoted to the customer and everyone was willing to help out in any way possible. It was truly a breath of fresh air from all of the cheap, discusting hotels I usually stay in. I would definatly reccommend this hotel.
