we stayed recently at the hotel and while it wasnt the ritz, we werent expecting it to be. the rooms were very clean and well stocked, the housekeeper kelly made us feel right at home and made sure we had extras we asked for right away,she was also extremly familier with the area and gave excellent recommendations for shopping and restaurants. we will definently stay again and recommend to family and friends

We reserved a room for two nights at this hotel, the only one available because of the SIU homecoming. The first room we were given was so horrible I refused to stay in it. Recently I stayed at this hotel and found it a charming, quiet and clean place. Owners and staff, specially Brian and his wife were very freindly and helpful.

Hotel is just outside a very small airport (I saw a small plane parked near a hangar, but did not see any plane land or take off). There is a nice restaurant a few yards away.

I would definitely stay there on my next visit to Carbondale.

On 9/24/07 We stayed at this motel while husband had eye surgery at the VA hospital. The owner and his wife where very nice and went out of there way to make sure everything was fine. The room was very clean and the beds very comfortable. There is a Mexican Resturant within walking distance and the food was good. I would recommend this motel to my family and friends.

I've stayed at this motel for an extended period of time and have received very attentive service. The owners go out of their way to make sure everything is satisfactory in your room. The only downside is that the structure's walls are thin and other guests are easily heard. The room is always very clean, with fresh towels and maid service. At the low rate, this motel is a good value.

We stayed only 2 nights due to the excessive noise of the outside door banging from 5:00 am onward. Brian decided he would charge us for 3 nights!! I have contacted American Express regarding this overcharge. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone - including my worst enemy. The owner needs to teach the staff how to treat their guests better if they are to have them return.
