Hotel is run down on the inside. Very helpful people, very very old looking rooms. Rooms have holes in the wall. Greatest amenity was the plasma tv on the wall. Rooms considerablely sized, would not stay cool. Definately not worth price paid.
I'm writing this review over a year later. While looking for a hotel for our upcoming anniversary, I decided to check the Hilton, curious if my stay was unique in its poor experience...apparently not. I will say that our room on the concierge level had a great view of the city and seemed clean. That's where the good news ends. I would have ...

We would not go back!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/23/09
We were given a room with a king bed for three people (their mistake) and they said they could do nothing to help us but give us blankets to use on the floor for the third person. Later when we asked for blankets they said they had none. We always had to wait at least 15 minutes for an elevator and finally people started taking the stairs. We ...

You sure you want to stay here?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/22/08
I stayed here about 1 week and here's what I got. (1) A spider bite (2) No water pressure in the sink (3) Sink leaked (4) Floor / carpet not vacuumed. My socks were dirty and covered in hair. I found plastic parts and an old vitamin. (5) Blood stains on the sheets (6) plasma tv - poor reception (7) plasma tv would turn on/off at random (8) ...
We spent one night at the Charlotte Hilton in Sept 2007. The bed was comfortable, the room was very clean and beautifully decorated, and the view was great. The food was good too.
Two complaints: Tardy elevators; and an arduous, maze-like, death march from the parking garage down to the lobby. If you're not familiar with the route, ...

Not the best experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/25/08
Great location. Very attractive decor. Staff was friendly and apologetic. Shower was dirty. There was no hot water on our second day there (the entire hotel had no hot water). The temporary dinning buffet food was horrible. The elevators were so slow, and would not stop on certain floors. You would have to go one floor up or below the floor you ...

Cancellation

I would suggest you are totally definitely positively sure that you are going to be there when you booked your reservation, or you MUST know 24 hours before check in, as you cannot cancel your room after 24 hours prior to checking in, even if you are SICK and can't travel. YOU WILL BE BILLED.

We wouldn't stay there again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/15/07
This hotel is well located in the business district of Charlotte, NC, next to the Convention Center. That's about all I can say good about the hotel.
Infrastructure is poor. At least 2 of the 4 elevators did not work during our stay. Those that did, were slow and poorly dispatched. It was obvious that overall maintenance was a low ...
