Labor Dispute
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/05/09
There is currently a labor dispute at the Hotel. The Door and Bellmen are on Strike and are picketing the Hotel.
After we came back from dinner we found mouse droppings in the bathroom sink, on the counter, on the bathroom floor, and most importantly on one of the beds. When hotel staff was informed about the problem they refused to offer us a solution until they sent the feces off to a lab to be analyzed. We discussed the situation with the director of ...
Excellent location, close to good restuarants, shopping and attractions. Comfortable room with nice extras like a microwave and frig, desk and extra TV. Friendly, fast service. Really found the coffee shop affordable and useful.

Planning our next trip there.

The location is great- 1/2 block from Michigan ave. It's always easy to find your way back, because it is across the street from the Hancock building. The rooms are big enough for a family without crowding and the price is reasonable for the city.

We were greeted by friendly staff and warm cookies. They asked the nature of our business and I told some for meetings and some for my wife's BD. Later in the afternoon we were treated with a complimentary bottle of champaign and a delicious strawberry/chocolate treat for 2. What a surprise! The pool on top of the hotel (30th floor) provides an excellent view of the lake and city. Would definetly go back again.
