We stumbled upon this place a few years back and have stayed there ever since. Its in a wonderful location and we rarely have to drive anywhere around town. I stayed at Johnson's Inn as a child, a teenager, and now as an adult! We come to Gatlinburg at least 2 or 3 times a year, and we love everything about our stays at Johnson's Inn. We can always count on a clean room and courteous service! We tell everyone that this is definitely the place to stay in Gatlinburg!

Our room was dirty and needed updated. I did mention when we left that it was dirty and was just given a smile - like so what. It is in a good location, to bad they have let it run down.

Please clean the boards that the beds sit on!

My wife and I stayed at Johnson's Inn June 18-June 21, 2007. Our room (116) had no electricity on one wall so they moved us to a deluxe room (115) with a whirlpool and fireplace. We stayed in summer 2006 and decided we would definitly stay again.We went back June 2007...the tower is being turned into condos.I expect their prices to go up,understandably.These are the best smelling rooms that i have stayed in,even the bigger chain motels.Their laundry is very fresh and clean.I hope the old rooms are just as good as the tower ...

My family and I have stayed here several times. The location is great and the rooms are very clean and comfortable.
I strongly recomend you try Johnsons Inn if your planning a stay in Gatlinberg. A short walk to all the attractions.

The continental breakfast is always so nice,
we get the full history of Johnsons Inn by
the lovely lady who served us.
We have stayed all over Gatlinburg for 40 yrs.
But go back to Johnson's Inn every chance we

Every time we stay in Gatlinburg we stay at the Johnsons Inn. We love it. The people are nice and accomodating and you trully feel like family. We have gone there for close to 6 years now and we have never been disappointed.
