It is hard to find a bad review of this hotel - my wife and I have stayed there on and off for over 20 years, and it is my favourite.

great staff ; great room ; very peaceful; great breakfast ; we had a very pleasant one night there, Pierrette helped us with a difficult situation ( due to our lack of french ) We could have easily stayed a few more nights there but they were booked out I feel the photos on this site do not do it justice ,it is much nicer

The entrance is back off the street which makes it quiet and lovely. The staff was most helpful, polite and friendly. Walking distance to shops, museums, etc. Gardens and patio lovely.

We stayed in the family room with a beautiful view of the garden. Hotel in walking distance to the town shops and open market on Saturday. Beautiful old country inn.

I was there with my father in late September of 2004 and had a wonderful time. I found the staff to be very friendly and inviting.
