I have stayed on both family and business entertaining trips. The place is pleasant and simple. Just right for a self-directed Keys vacation. Marina just across the highway, bar a short walk and excellent seafood market/resturant just up the street.

It was very nice, it had seperate 2 Room cabins with each one having the name of some rare or common native fish. There was also a decently sized pool along with a good atmosphere. Our family has stayed at Parmer's Resort approximately ten times over the years. Recently we have utilized the resort on three or four day fishing trips. My family and I have stayed at Parmer's the past two years and just returned home 4/18/06. In our opinion you will not find a better location to stay. Quiet, near Key West and the middle Keys. A short drive to see all the Key Deer you would like. Never had an issue during our visits.

we have a house in the same neighborhood, and needed to stay at Parmers because our plumbing was not hooked up. The staff was very accomadating. We love the exotic birds and breakfast that is served. We also enjoyed the yoga in the open air. We recommend it all the time .

What is not to like? The place is beautiful. The rooms are just like the pictures showed. Breakfast is very good, light and tasty. I loved the parrots. The location is secluded to the area but as close to Key West as I want to be. We will be going back next year!
