You can not get closer to the beach.
There is not many areas where the public can come park and visit the beach so you have the beach to yourselves.
The staff is friendly. The property is older but maintained.
You are in between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale.
What more could you want?

Air conditioner kept freezing up and kitchen had ants. Hope it is better this time and hope we can get our same rooms.Pull out beds dusty and difficult to open. Location was perfect. All my friends and family have been told and visit the website.

My husband and I stayed at the Driftwood for the 4th of July weekend in 2005. We had room number 27, a second floor ocean view studio with kitchenette.
