I stay here every time I'm on the Island. Typical 'hotel chain' style rooms, but larger and have more ammenities (i.e.: bathtubs) than most of the rooms down on Crecent Ave that only have showers. The staff has always been friendly and able to provide information on local restaurants and goings on. Yes, a long walk up the hill from ...
We had a nice clean room with a view and the price was reasonable. But two weeks later I found unknown charge from the hotel in my credit card statement. When I called, a hotel clerk said, "Maybe you had breakfast at our restaurant?". The restaurant was under construction and was closed when we stayed there. Then she promised she would ...
While there last summer a staff member was drinking beer by the pool side while families with small children were around and it was our understanding that was not aloud especially since it was in glass bottles...staff closed the pool down earlier at nite so they could have their friends partying. Service was just lousy...did not feel comfortable at all.
One of the only hotels on the island with a pool is a bonus. Over Labor Day weekend, when the beach is likea parking lot, it was nice to go back to the hotel and cool off at the pool steps away from our room. The room was nice and clean. Hotel staff was very friendly (depsite what I had read on other sites. I was really worried going into it) ...
The front desk staff was EXTREMELY rude, Ms Casillas is the rudest manager I have ever encountered, the hotel is in desperate need of renovation, I would not ever recommend staying here!!!
I made reservations on the Internet and found the hotel to be very disappointing on arrival. After looking at the room my wife flatly refused to stay in hotel. Even though we came down from the room five minutes after we checked in bags in hand and said we would like to cancel our stay we were never asked why. We were just told we would be ...
Hotel is very PINK. Clean room, friendly staff. Nice little outdoor patio with a view of the ocean. Short walk to anywhere in Avalon. Breakfast was limited to apples, old croisants, coffee, and tea.
We've stayed all over in Avalon, and liked this place the best. The walk allows/forces you to get fresh air and work off all the goodies you shop for. The courtyard/landscape is beautiful, the pool/jacuzzi is relaxing and beautiful. The spa treatments are wonderful...my best experience yet...the peppermint head massage! The room was typical of an affordable hotel, not Amazing, but nice & the right price.
