Excellent everything: location-right on Kalapaki Bay, proximity to golf- Kauai Lagoons, pampered service, great meals (a little on the pricey side). Spent 5 days and will definitelybe returning. Be sure to Get the Marriott mug, for $25 you get free unlimited refills during your entire stay. Beautiful resort grounds and views. Comfortable Marriott-style rooms. Excellent choice. Great pool.

People, believe me before you regret it!
The location is great, the service and personnel sucks! We spent 5 days and nights here and we couldn't make them being friendly and providing service to us. Complains to management didn't help. DON'T do it and waste your 500 USD per night to be treated like someone, who only is supposed to be here to get even more money out of....

Oh my gosh, this had to be the best vacation ever. This resort is top notch. The service is great and the surroundings are the best. It's the tallest building on the island. Our room had views of the garden, the pool and the bay. They have surfing lessons onsite as well as many activities for the whole family. When we went it was as a timeshare ...

Very clean and very frienly people This was a gift from my family for my 70th birthday. I didn't know what to expect, but I was simply overwhelmed with my stay.

The view was breathtaking from our room. We had a picture perfect week at the resort. The food, service, pool and entertainment were all excellent. It was worth every penny we spent!! I can't wait to go back someday.

Although this is a very large hotel, it's a lovely hotel. The service was fabulous and the gym was awesome!! Although the clientelle was all families or newlyweds... so if you are not one of these, you might feel a bit like you don't fit in.

The Thanksgiving meal is really awesome and fun, too.

There was major construction on the entrance, exit and driveway repairing drainage system. Several rooms had been flooded during the rains.

The pool was beautiful. Great variety of shops at reasonable prices.

The water was kind of brown and not nearly as blue as the other beaches.

The grounds are amazing with a great pool and if you like Golf the two connected courses are amazing. Nice Beach and the service was great as well.

My husband & I loved this hotel & it's location, much easier to get to than the hotels in the south and north ends of the island. It's easy to find & close to the airport - we did NOT notice any disturbance of airplanes, which I have read about & was worried about before, it was NOT a problem whatsoever.
