just as other review said... good location, but that's about it !!! I stayed there for the whole week to send my brother off to school and the hotel was a mess..!! the corridor is always dirty, full of dirty bed sheets and trash. They dont really clean your room there, all they did was just change the towels. and i'm pretty damn sure that ...

We always stay at the University Inn when we go down to see our daughter, who is a Jr at UW Madison.
Sure it is on crazy State Street where college life is happening and it is loud and bustling. But hey, that is where the action is and it is fun to see. We prefer rooms that are not facing State Street...they tend to be a bit quieter.

The University Inn is conventiently located to everything at UW and the price is right.

Located on the busiest street, it was impossible to fall asleep even by early dawn.
The bathroom shower grout was very moldy when we chcked in and was cleaned only after we complained
