Spectacular views of the "back side" of the Tetons - NO crowds - several relatively easy trails wind through the foothills - the wildflowers in July were spectacular
I have skied and Grand Targhee several times and I always find it to be the most relaxing place I have ever skied. It is a little out of the way but that is great because crowds never really develop. the snow is great the people working there are awsome and the accomadations are first class. Most of the accomidations are a few miles but well worth the drive. I am looking forwrd to returning this next ski season.

Grand Targhee in June

My family stayed at the Grand Targhee Resort in June, 2004 while on a 2 week vacation traveling through 15 states. It was the most memorable of nights on our whole vacation. The weather was still cold and there was still snow on the ground. There were very few people there. We used the heated pool, weight room and jacuzzi. But the best part was ...
