Booked in August for October. We were immediately charged for the room on our credit card. Days Inn informed us that we chose the option to pay now and save which we never chose. We also lose that money if we cancel. Too Bad-- we are stuck. Days Inn was not very helpful to us. They made it quite clear they could care less. Will not come back ...

Could not wait to get out of there!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/14/09
My family and I stayed there in July. We all agreed that this is the worst hotel we have every staryed in and we could not wait to get out of there! The rooms were not very clean and the staff not so friendly. Car alarms going off in the middle of the night and arguing residents keeped us up all night.

NASTY and DECEPTIVE

The picture on-line IS NOT THIS HOTEL! No pool, except for the one under the sink. Carpeting was soaking wet. Went to the lobby to cancel our second night and to let them know the carpet was wet, got no apology....nothing. Room smelled disgusting. Residents sitting outside of rooms were questionable. As one other person commented, Days Inn ...

Pleasant stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/23/08
It's very close to Salem, which is why we chose it---only about 3 miles straight down the road. The outside definitely could be updated. I was a little nervous when I first pulled in, but the people were nice and very helpful, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot. We even got a free continental breakfast which ...

Spend a couple extra dollars and find a better place.Days Inn should be ashamed to have there name on this property. Who's idea was it to paint the outside puke green?

The outside could have been nicer. I wish there was an indoor pool also. The rooms were well maintained. The inside was very friendly. I enjoyed my stay there a lot.

What I expected
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/01/07
The outside was being renovated so It wasn't nice to look at, but the room was clean and the staff was pleasant. There is a whole bunch of stores and restaurants in walking distance. Also, it turns out that Danvers is actually the spot of old Salem village which is where alot of the witch history actually happened.

Would NEVER go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/04/07
I wouldn't pay to sleep in the slums in my neighborhood, yet paid to stay in it here! The rooms were barely big enough for the 2 full beds and smelled of urine and mold! I didn't expect the ritz, but did not appreciate the drunken hotel residents having loud parties at 9 am. Left early and do NOT regret it! Hotel is also not accessible ...

Real Disappointment
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/30/06
Our room was discusting, burn holes in one of the blankets, room smelled horrible, room was dirty and had flies in it. Desk staff could not be found several times because she was outside smoking. When I tried to talk to desk staff about the situation she was extremely rude and non-accomidating. For the money I paid for that room($120)I was extremely disatisfied!
Stayed in this motel Sept 05, on an 11 day holiday to Danvers. Thought the location was excellent - loved the Mall right across the road, and no shortage of entertainment and night lofe within the locality. The motel was entirely adequate for our needs, and excellent value for money - the room was big with a pretty view over the estuary, and, ...
