during my first week, seven items were stolen from my room. reception staff were not interested. i had to really kick up a storm before any action was taken.

I always loved the hotel so the last time we were in SL me and my boy friend spent a night.. the staff is amazing.. where ever u see them they will greet u.. and so helpful.. it was a busy weekend i guess but when we entered the room the floors were still wet... that was the only issue.. but we had a wonderful time .. and i loved the food :D the bay view rooms are better than the garden and ocean view.. I stayed three nights at the ML in May 2005 , my first impression from the outside was wow but on entering my room it was not wow but pow as the smell of damp and what seemed like a blocked drain filled the room . These rooms were on the ground floor and the outside corridor smelled of sewage .
The levels of service were excellent and the main restaurant is not to be missed .
Furniture in the rooms have seen better days .
