The place to stay!This beautiful resort is centrally located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. My wife and I went there before we had children and had a nice room overlooking their lake.
We didn't spend a whole lot of time on the property, but that was because we only had a few days to get in the sightseeing.

A great experienceWe just got back from a lovely extended weekend there. We stayed in one of the luxury condos. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The grounds were immaculate. The condo was better than expected, and nicely furnished with a great view (the large in-room jacuzzi, wet bar, and washer/dryers were nice unexpected surprises). excited to go back soonI LOVED this place it was very romantic and peaceful. It was a suprise for me my husband got a babysitter and we packed up for a 2 night get away. We got a condo to stay in and when I arrived at the home there was alot alot of roses waiting on me. Blowing Rock's #1 destinationChetola is just a gem in the mountains. We've been visiting since 2002. The ownership is certainly not set on the "same ol' thing" year after year. They have consistently improved, added, and spruced up the resort. The partnership with Bob Timberlake has resulted in amazing furnishings and a wonderful bed and breakfast style inn. Beautiful Hideaway in the Blue Ridge MountainsWe had a wonderful time here last summer. Luxury 2 bedroom condo with plenty of room to relax in and a deck overlooking the landscaped grounds, lake, and Blue Ridge Mountains. Excellent restaurant on the property, as well as a health spa and indoor pool. Lots of walking paths, horseback riding trails, and lakes to fish in.
