Please don't fall for the fake reviews like we did
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/18/08
Our two sons and their friends needed a place to stay in San Fransisco for a reunion. We first reserved rooms at the Sheraton at fisherman's wharf, but our boys thought that we had spent too much money and asked Mom to find something a bit cheaper. Mom read the Castle Inn reviews and booked two rooms. The boys arrived with their friends and ...

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/26/08
My husband and our 2 daughters stayed at the Castle Inn 2 nights. Upon arrival, before 3:00, we were not allowed to check in. After a 4 hour drive, we needed to use the restroom, but their was none. The clerk was rude and could not recommend a close facility. The property is old an dated, We checked in a couple hours later to a room with 2 ...

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/22/07
The most thing I liked was the price and the service. Also I liked the cleanliness.I think it is the best place to go to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Upon arrival, my family and I were greeted by the graffiti infested sign in the two car spot where we parked to check in. When checking in was settled, we went to the "parking lot" and even though there were a ton of rooms, there were about 10 parking spots, some that were even reserved for "small cars only" (we were traveling ...

Best place to stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/09/07
Wonderful location. There are a variety of restaurants within walking distance. When you check in, you get maps and info on how to get public transportation. You are welcomed as though you are a member of thier family. The rooms are large, which is difficult to find in San Francisco. The couple who own the place are wonderful and know how to ...
June 28, 2007 Just returned from a 3-night, 4-day stay at Castle Inn. From the street, this appears to be a very nondescript hotel/motel. However, it is very comfortable & the owners and workers are extremely warm and pleasant. We felt like guests in their home. Has no lobby to speak of, but overlooks a pretty small patch of garden, is a great ...

Highly recommend Caslte Inn
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/27/07
Me, hsuband & teen kids had a great experience with Castle Inn. We arrived a day earlier than our reservations & desk staff helped us find an affordable motel within walking distance. We received driving, bus & walking help. Good location, free parking, comfortable & clean room, excellent suggestions for shopping & restaurant, etc. Was quiet & safe, too! Will stay here on future trips & will highly recommend.

I am not a criminal!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/26/07
I was treated like a criminal! Upon my arrival the front desk said that they required a $25.00 deposit even though I had already paid on-line. His comment was "I don't know you, would if you run off with my television." (Which by the way had no remote and was bolted to a run down 1970's cabinet.) After viewing the room it was ...
