This Hotel is by the airport and just outside of the main part of town. THe halls are dark and there are stains on the carpets in the hall. the rooms were cleaned daily and maintained. However the Laundry has only one washer and dryer for the whole hotel. the sink in the laundry was filthy and there are no soaps or other items to purchase. This ...

I Was stuck in Kodiak due to weather. I stayed at this motel. The food was GREAT! The room was very clean. I was not fond of the Manager, Found him to be very disrespectful, in the lounge. I thought he owed the place at first. New Manager ! I believe they need. Other than that. I would stay everytime.

Spend the ten bucks and take a taxi downtown. There is nothing around the hotel but the airport. Most all rooms face the parking lot even though it is one Buskin River. You cant see the river from the hotel, there are woods between the hotel and the river. Best thing about this hotel is the artwork on the walls! Better hotels downtown plus you have the convienace of everything down there. Best Western Kodiak Inn is way better.

Comfort Inn Kodiak is under new ownership and management. The review "Poor Excuse for a Hotel" does not refleck the million dollar renovation & management that took place last year. The hotel has the highest standards put in place by Choice Hotels and Comfort Inn.
